The wind and rain are picking up here in Connecticut. And the flooding? It’s here, particularly along the shoreline. Hurricane Sandy is making her presence known.
My brother took this photo of the beach with the tide reaching sea walls — a rare thing. The high tide line is about 50 feet back from where the water reached in this shot — and this was about an hour before high tide. The high tide tonight will be worse. Praying for our family, friends and neighbors on the shoreline.
